1. Have a pyjama party
In bed. Just you, something (or someone) to snuggle, a laptop, notebook or sketchpad, some rad music, a good movie, and a hot cup of chocolate. It’s the perfect antidote for dreary weather or cancelled plans.
Oh, what a glorious day for it too. Enthusiastically, I put my sleeping shirt back on, made myself a cup of tea and a piece of ginger slice (courtesy flatmate Marita's mum), and put on the movie Nick and Norah's infinite playlist. Not very exciting, but easy and cosy. Except the revolting and painfully detailed vomit scenes.
Cheer me up-factor: 5 out of 10. You have to pick the right movie/book for the desired effect. Plus, it's not like I don't do this several times a week anyway.
