12. Healing Stores
Go to one of those hippie shops and buy yourself something weird – a homeopath treatment or some incense or a dream catcher or a reiki massage or whatever they’re got on offer. Hell, what have you got to lose?
Strange as it may sound, I couldn't think of any stores of that caliber. There is one homeopath/natural health on on Cuba Street, and that one had to do. That kind of shop isn't really that weird to me, and I had a bit of a hard time finding something. This is what I ended up with:
A crystal deodorant and a packet of jasmine incense. Well, I've been meaning to try an aluminum chlorohydrate free deodorant for a while now, and the smell of our room certainly leaves space for improvement.
The deodorant seems to be working pretty well, and the room smells really good now (although pretty hippie).
Cheer-me-up factor: 3 out of 10. Well, I can't really say that buying a new deodorant makes me go crazy, but if I can spare my body some toxins and avoid some diseases, it's definitely doing something for my well-being.
Bonus: World's best cheer-me-up song:
Get up and dance!
