I don't know how the scene in Sweden looks right now. But in New Zealand, the latest fitness/dance craze is ZUMBA (skip forward a few minutes if you don't want to watch the whole thing):
It is like a mixture between aerobics and dance, and the music is a big mash-up of all Latino styles.
In Wellington, everyone is talking about it. In little Rotorua, there are 31 classes a week to chose from. After seeing an infomercial (ehrm...) that I couldn't take my eyes off, I decided I had to try it.
Yesterday, I went with Sam's mum Jane. And I can confirm the rumours; it is fun, intense, exhausting and the instructor was tight as a tiger even though she was in her late fourties/early fifties.
From now on, I will not only spice up my weeks with samba, but also zumba!
Let's ZUMBA!

Well, I don't know if there is a craze for Zumba, but the infomercial sure is getting annoyingly huge amounts of play time even back in Sweden. I know; take a few lessons, start teaching it, and by the time you get back to Sweden, the Zumba-craze will be at its peak and you can make a pile of money being an instructor. I mean, it's not like you haven't got the rythm, right?
