3rd one - a habit (?!)

Last night, Jade and me saw Boy. And I have to say to you Swedes - chase it down, download it, whatever. See it.

Today is a beautiful sunny day in Wellington, and me and Sam went for a very successful trip to Petone and it's OP shop. I found an awesome pair of no 58's (see The List), jeans, a hoodie and even postcards for today's mission:

3. Send Postcards Buy a packet of ten postcards and send a note to your friends – even the ones you see every day. Tell them how awesome you think they are, and how much you love hanging out with them. Or, if you want to be less sappy, just quote some Manowar lyrics and tell them they smell. I even make heavy metal postcards for just this purpose!

Since I live with seven others, I had a pretty easy time coming up with people. I parked myself in the beanbag on our sunny backyard and wrote away. And the compliments just kept coming, I didn't even have to think hard about it.

Two cards are going to coming-up birthday children in Sweden, and the last one I posted anonymously to our neighbour with a cheer up note.

Cheer me up-factor: I have to give it a whooping 8 out of 10. Maybe it's the glorious day, and my already great mood, but I found it very uplifting to write nice things to others. None of my flatmates smell or would be cheered up by hearing that they do, and today is not a day I feel like acting cool, so I went for the cheesier kind of cards.
