No 6 - the bear is loose!

Oh, this one I've been looking forward to:

6. Dress Up
Create outfits of ridiculous clothes and accessories to do mundane tasks. Walk the dog in your bondage pants and Pantera shirt, vacuum the house in a tutu and high heels, buy milk at the store in nothing but a trench coat. (I’ll let you invent your own definition of “ridiculous”).

The only problem: I don't own much clothes in this country. I was on my way down to the dairy in my dressing gown/bathrobe with a towel wrapped around my hair when I thought of Hana's bear dress. Perfect. And Hana herself got so enthused she put on a bunny/tutu outfit.

I started with a good vacuum of the house (my chore this week). Definitely more fun in a bear costume.



















Then it was time to head downtown to run some errands. I got some big smiles and some looks, but I think that people just assumed I was on my way to some sort of middle-of-a-Tuesday-dress-up-party.

Anyway, Wellington has definitely seen stranger things than a bear renewing her parking permit, going to the post office and having lunch with her (surprised and amused) boyfriend.

Cheer-me-up factor: 7 out of 10. Well, I'm still in the suit writing this. An instant pick-me-up. I might even start doing bear Tuesdays.
