No 20 - sniff sniff sniff

20. Inexpensive Pampering
Go to a shop like “Lush” and spend some time smelling everything. Then buy yourself a little treat. Many people like to buy incredible handmade soap from Etsy – I don’t, because I live in NZ and the shipping makes it horrendously expensive. Plus you loose out on the smelling – the smelling is the important part.

Oooh, I absolutely love LUSH and a few years ago, almost all my products were from there. I combined a walk with my new lovely Swedish friend Sanna with a visit to LUSH.

The second we stepped into the store a girl asked us if we wanted any help and I said we'd like to just sniff around. After that, I though they'd leave us alone to our sniffing pleasure. Oh no. We were told everything about their current deals, showed the basket where they proudly displayed every fruit that was in the products and asked about our relationship status. Ok, not that last one. But sweet jesus, it was impossible to get some peace for a good old sniff around. I did buy something, but not for myself. I totally lost my shopping mood.

This soap however, I bought at my favourite local Asian store. It was 99 cents and it smells like heaven in a wrap.

Cheer-me-up factor: 6 out of 10. It was a great walk, and the stuff smelled lovely as always. Too bad I didn't have a chance to do it. So happy with my other soap though, can smell it from here...
