No 16 - badges and badgers

Today is not ideal weather for kite-flying. But I will do that one, promise. Instead, I did this today:

16. Trim

Find one of those treasure-trove fabric and trimming shops with hundreds of bits of old lace and rooms of buttons and bins of fabric offcuts. Set yourself a budget – say, $15, and find a mad ensemble of items. Take them home and decorate a hat, headband, bag, necklace or bag.

Or, sort of. Had an extremely boring black beenie from the dollar shop that needed some up-spicing. (No matter this beenie is the only "representable" one, the other ones being pink with "ears" or pink knitted Bolivian style)

Also, I had a few (very kiwi) badges I didn't really know what to do with. I matched them with three of my own brooches and attached them to the hat.

Cheer-me-up factor: 2 out of 10. I don't know. Maybe I'm losing a bit of the interest because the complete lack of comments. But I'm struggling with my list a bit here. I might skip a few (wear a suspender belt? wear bells?! ) and do the ones I actually suspect might cheer me up the most.

My own bonus tips:

Listen to, and sing along to this song (I did the Swedish version):

Learn an instrument. I'll dedicate a whole post to this later, but for now, today's project on the ukulele:

All I Need - Radiohead
