The Very Important Meeting and how it went.

Before we went in to Governor General, I asked Sam what to expect. He told me it would probably be pretty informal. It sure wasn't. There were people telling you (in whispering voices) where to stand, where to sit, and when to introduce yourself. There was standing morning tea in the dining room with tiny teacups filled with perfectly warm tea, tiny sandwiches and little cubes of sweet things.

I imagine meeting the Swedish king would be less formal than this. It was such a cool and different experience and it made me think of how few things that are that formal nowadays.

I'm wondering if I was the only person in the room playing with the thought of what would happen if I stood up and said something inappropriate (which would have been almost anything).

  1. Men alltså... vad märkligt. Man fick ha med sig kameran in i alla fall?
