Meeting someone almost royal

Tomorrow, we got a very important meeting. Sorry, make that A Very Important Meeting. Sam's step dad Pat is becoming Chief Justice over Niue (Why did I not know about this cool place before? Sam just saw that the lowest temperature EVER on Niue was 11 °C! Enough parenthesis!), and we are invited to the big ceremony at the Governor General's place.

Now, this mr. Governor General is a pretty big deal, I'm told. It's the equivalent of a king, except he is chosen by the prime minister.

I've raided my humble closet and created and outfit of op-shopped stuff that looks pretty nice when put together, and a pearl necklace and leather heels to top it off. Hopefully the Governor General would never know that the outfit (minus shoes!) was something like 20 bucks.
