Me and the city of Napier seem to have a special relationship. We just keep on bumping in to each other.
On Saturday, Sam and I drove up to meet Sam's parents for a big Motown concert. And what a concert. Green vineyards, the warmest night since I came to New Zealand, glow sticks, and magic performance.
I tried to upload the final song - A Michael Jackson tribute with everyone on stage; original Motown artists like The Temptations, Four Tops, one of The Supremes and Joan Osbourne. But no. Instead, another classic.
Shit camera. Amazing performance. Glorious crowd. Beautiful evening.
