One of the greatest pleasures with leaving my home country.
Things that I wouldn't do there, people that I wouldn't meet there. Stepping out of that famous comfort zone.
Yesterday was pretty random. Got a call by one of the girls at my samba, she wanted me to help her out teaching kids how to snorkel. I spent all day in a wetsuit, squeezing little ten year old kids into suits and fins, teaching them how to use counting device for fish under water. Absolutely lovely. But sweet lord, all the teachers in the world deserve the biggest kudos and jubilations.
In the afternoon, a Swedish girl that I met partying on Friday came over for a homemade semla. That is, for you non-Swedes, a fluffy bun stuffed with almond paste and cream. In my case, not-so-fluffy-buns. But Locheen is crazy about them, so they can't be too bad.
Here they are.
I wonder what today is going to bring me?
