Welly comeback

Dear blog, how badly I'm neglecting you.

It's just that I had a massive flight I still haven't fully recovered from (I probably haven't woken up this early on a Saturday since I was five, and every night after dinner I struggle to keep my eyes open), plus I'm now dealing with all that you deal with travelling from summer to winter - flaking tan, constant shivers, homecoming blues - you know what I mean.

Enough excuses. I'm cuddling the heater and got my warm hoodie on.

The four flights went brilliant. You who know me also know that I'm scared of flying. And I always torture myself with spotting terrorists at the gate. I know! So ridiculous. Doesn't mean that it's ridiculous in my head at the time though.

However, the fear was slightly tamed by the fact that I had a lovely boy behind me all the way from London to Sydney. He was mentally disabled, although in this situation I definitely felt like the disabled one. He cheered very enthusiastically at every take off, landing, and even slight turbulence.

And who can be scared when someone else cheers?

On top of that, I got to to a transfer in Bangkok where I got nostalgic among things like sticky rice with mango and whitening body lotion. AND when we took of from Sydney, I got a perfect view of the whole city, including the opera house. What a bonus! So now I have set foot in Oz, even though I got a feeling an airport is more like international territory.

So - now I'm back, full of inspiration and energy and ready to take care of the few things that aren't perfect in my life and accumulate some awesomeness.

Also, thank you Sanna!
