Dear blog,

I am so sorry for neglecting you for a whole week. You see, I've been busy doing the following:

* Getting and trying to get rid of an ubiquitous winter cold.

* Interviewing a dentist, and writing an article about dental procedures.

* Sewing a traditional samba outfit and performing at the opening of Carmen with a type of dance I've only seen once before in my life.

* Writing about some of the 232 destinations in the world I found suitable enough to be included in a new web page.

* Eating salty yum liqourice yum fish that my mum sent me.

* Getting people to shoot hoops at Cuba Mall, tempting with a free gym membership.

* Buying a ticket back to New Zealand after my one month and one day stay in Sweden (mid July to mid August!).

* Eating raggmunk and lingonsylt with my sweet Swedish friends.

* Attending a "be spacial" - party.

What have you been up to the last week?

In other news I would like to wish Sweden a happy national day. Tomorrow is the Queen's birthday so everyone is free from work. Not that it's New Zealand's queen, but whatever.

  1. Jealous! I really want to see Carmen! I saw the opera version in Auckland a few years ago and I just adore it. Sigh. Technically she is NZ's Queen, but it's really just a ceremonial role. It's not even her real birthday haha but whatever. I do unfortunately have to go to work, but I get paid time and a half so that's ok.
