In other news, I am going through a very thorough process of medical examinations for my visa. Hypochondriac as I am, it is quite nice to get my heart listened to, my lungs x-rayed, my reflexes knocked at and my eyeballs lightened up. It seems like I can put my fear away for a wee while now.
Tonight, we're going to a potluck and I made Swedish kladdkaka and some intriguing orzo salad. Is it a sign of winter that half of my thoughts circle around food? I'm cold, and I'm hungry, and I'm meanwhile trying not to be white and chubby like a good piece of a mozzarella upon my arrival in Sweden.
Picture from the weekend's mustache party. Mainly there because it's boring to read posts with no pics.
Also, tonight is NZ's first game in the World cup. I'm quite happy I got another team to cheer after Sweden got thrown out.
