Have I told you we're moving on Sunday? This is the view we're going to wake up to.















Pretty sweet considering it's about five minutes walk to town. Less sweet is to leave the house we're in. I think I'm too sentimental for my own good. Anyway - seven people, huge kitchen, big room, huge deck, next too Botanic Gardens and Kelburn Park. Sweet as, especially for summer.

The moving will be easy too, considering we don't really own much. One carload, tops.

Compile a list of all the people in the world you want to meet – all the amazing artists, writers, musicians, actors, thinkers, dreamers and activists who’ve inspired you over the years.

Start emailing them and making contact. Tell them everything you’d want to tell them in real life – how they touched your life and inspired your own creativity, which of their works had the greatest impact on you, what you think of their latest project. Ask their opinion on matters concerning the world and point them in the direction of your own work. You never know, you might even get a reply!

I chose to write to my long term author hero Bodil Malmsten. I have another person to write too, but I can't find the address. If I'll get a reply, you'll be the first to know.
